Day 970 - We Turn to Moz Angeles... "Shalom, Shalom"

Trouble Loves Me remains in the set..... and all is well with the world.... MorrisseysWorld. I won't write today, but will add videos and pictures from yesterday's show. The MorrisseysWorld blog has not had any further articles added, but seeing as there are only 45 comments, that isn't surprising! Meanwhile, there is news regarding the release of the single version of WORLD PEACE IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.... it is available to download from May 13th, and here is the sleeve artwork. It's the photo of Moz in the gardens of La Fabrique in France, with Paula the dog, his Mont Blanc pen, plus an old bike and a wall added to the background. What is more, Morrissey is wearing Fifi's plimsols. IT'S A COVER FOR THE BLUE ROSE SOCIETY!.... well, the plimsols at any rate.

The rumour was true. @LeeThommo was right. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a BRAND NEW MORRISSEY single available to buy on TUESDAY, and the chances are we will have Istanbul next week and Earth is the Loneliest Planet after that. Exciting times.

Knee to back of the head. Elbow in face. I literally got the blue rose ripped from my hair by a fucking c***. He was mesmerizing." - BRS member @Jazissey (Note from Ed- Jazissey was referring to Morrissey being mesmerizing, and NOT the "fucking c***"!)

  7. Thanks for blogging today, Rats, even though you had said you wouldn't. You've done a magnificent job of keeping us updated. Great to see Trouble still in the setlist. Sorry to hear that the pit was too rough for any BRS members to deliver, but we know you tried your best and we're thankful you survived with all body parts intact! Morrissey's visit to SoCal has been most special and memorable and we now look forward to the rest of the tour.

  8. Surely all those WPINOYB posters popping all over London and Manchester are a sign of an upcoming UK tour....
Moz, I've had my fingers crossed for too long now, it hurts. Please please please, come home.

  15. So much going on. I've forgotten what I was going to say. Great footage coming in from the L.A. concert. His voice sounded particularly good last night. So much to look at & listen to! Wonderful. However I was disturbed to hear about the fighting in the pit, & Jjazmine getting a little roughed up!
I can't wait to download the single, & I love the cover artwork...very fond of that particular photo.

  16. Hello Ratty, thank you for the wonderful post and the pics! BRS people are fantastic! i like very much the sleeve of the new single and I like even more seeing a lot of people in a Morrissey's concert! Sorry if I insist, bur the Ben Gazzarra picture could be not only a nice backdrop, but a confirmation of the concert in Sicily on July, I like to think this, also the name of the actress Julie Wilson could be a code for July will (be) soon...I'm crazy, I know! Today is mother's day in Italy and I'm going to have a special dinner with my family. Ciao!

  17. Mr. Rat, working overtime on your day off! Fine work again with the pics and videos. The videos showed it was an intense and energetic musicale last nite at The LA Sports Arena. Tom Jones still has some incredible pipes. Our Moz was spectacularly euphonious for this celebration. I also want to chime in how much I like the cover for WPINOYB single.

  18. WPINOYB is sending out a powerful message .
The lyrics are sharp & robust.
I love the choice of artwork for the sleeve.
I hope it gets the recognition it deserves.
