Day 1097 - In the Rs of the (Morrisseys)World

Yesterday evening, shortly after 6pm, MorrisseyParody posted the following tweets:

"Negotiations to release WPINOYB and more have proved positive. Details soon."

"All delays, cancellations, misinformation, unfulfilled arrangements and bad weather are due to management issues."

"Perpetual management issues are due to management."

"Oh and some more UK dates look likely. (if management pull finger out)"

"Manchester Nynex Arena (is it called that again now?)."

"And finally Sybil, please remember - its all the management's fault."

"Like that missing apostrophe - management's fault."

A new record deal and more UK dates are of course very good news, but as announcements go, there wasn't a lot being given away by MorrisseyParody, and whoever posted those tweets certainly wasn't Our Mozzer, as he would NEVER have got his Cyril's mixed up with his Sybil's. Also, the mention of Manchester Arena would tend to suggest that the person behind this twitter account is our old friend Kevin 'Banjaxer' Mar(r)inan, as earlier yesterday he was tweeting about the collapse of the company Phones 4u, which just so happens to be the company who currently sponsor the Manchester Arena.

MORRISSEY SINGING AT THE PHONES 4U MANCHESTER ARENA IN 2012 WHEN IT WAS KNOWN SIMPLY AS THE MANCHESTER ARENA

If the person tweeting yesterday as MorrisseyParody wasn't Banjaxer, then my other guess would be..... RICKY GERVAIS or RUSSELL BRAND.... although their involvement in MorrisseysWorld (if they ever were involved), has probably long since passed, so Banjaxer remains prime suspect.

I remain convinced that the MorrisseyParody account is associated to MorrisseysWorld, and it is nice to see that 'R' has got his job back, but for now, there is still no sign of Our Mozzer.

I shall now disappear back underground into my own little world, and will only blog again publicly if there is anything worth blogging about. Thankfully, October 6th is now only 20 days away.

*Goes off mindlessly kicking a ball around, just killing time*

  1. Great chart from fluff, but no Nico?!

Interesting theory about MorrisseyParody. Who knows? Jiggered if I do.

  3. Maybe if you posted more pictures of JB, your readership might grow. You can't just selectively cut and paste any old photo of Serge from my timeline you know, and think that that will be enough to bring the flocks to you.

JB had a new photo shoot with Adidas today. I have no idea what what was going on though. All the shoes looked like they were about a size 3.

    Must have been Photoshop.

  4. "Negotiations to release WPINOYB and more have proved positive." I really like the "and more" part of that sentence. Hopefully we'll hear from you again, Ratty, before the tour starts.

  6. Another terrific chart. Glad to see Sinatra on it, especially, with a tune I was not familiar with. He was my favorite artist before Morrissey. I think much of that was due, like with Morrissey, to a great voice and the well crafted lyrics to his songs. Frankie baby, was lucky enough to be able to choose from an assortment of talented song writers. Which, speaks a lot for Morrissey's talents, who does both lyrics and voice, and, with his good looks, has, as they would say in the older films, 'the whole package'. Something that is lacking in most of the new artists. Last week I read the top ten currently out, and think I found one I liked. I know I'm worried about sounding like my mom, but the teens at my home, agree. It has been strange this summer to hear them listening to 'older' tunes--but enjoyable for me. I still do not understand why all the girls are twerking and why they all want big butts. Well, have a good week.
