Day 1404 - In the Depot

Last night, at The Depot in Salt Lake City, Utah, Morrissey once again accepted and subsequently wore a blue rose - that makes it four years in a row that this has now happened.

The rose was handed to Moz by long time MorrisseysWorlder, Jaz, whilst the BlueRoseSociety Vice President, Vulgar Angie also offered a rose. We await a full account of events from both Jaz and Angie, but an MW 'O' was also thrown in for good measure.

And if they don't believe us now, will they ever believe us?

  1. They have never believed us and never will, but that just makes it all the more special. Very well done, Jaz and Angie!

  4. OM promises to return. The next day M wears a blue rose. And this isn't even the first time one followed the other.

    Splendid.

    1. I have just checked, and you are right, 'R'. I reported on Day 967 of FTM that OM (and the MW blog) had returned & then on Day 968 I wrote about M wearing the blue rose in Santa Ana.
Splendid indeed - and all very exciting.

  10. Finally! Moz was accepted and worn another blue rose. Congratulations to Jaz and also to Angie for her effort. Long live the Blue Rose Society! I wait with baited breath for the new parody. The excitement is palpable as things grow more exhilarating and eventful each and every day.

  11. Morrissey is still here in Salt Lake City lol

    Last night was amazing
The bus driver took 2 of our roses and put them on the bus
Moz took Jaz hand and the rose then he put it in his pocket.
Others had white roses in the crowd!!!!
    M throw up an O
I didn't invade the stage because the shirt was toss at Jaz and I lol
I tossed the rose near mondo
    I got M sleeve.

I think he saw I was trying to jump the rail when he tossed his shirt to get me not to jump over!
And if he did well played sir

I would write more but I am extremely brunt out

  12. Good Job!! Jaz & Angie. The two of you must be running on pure adrenaline today. I would be. And, Angie, thanks for the post of what transpired. Sounds like you had a good time, maybe I should say, terrific...wonderful time?? There might be no word to describe it. It's always so uplifting whenever Moz does give the BRS a nod. I know it seems unusual that so many deny them, but at one time it was commented that sometimes the intimacy of having a smaller, closer group was nice and may be preferred. Now, it's waiting for the parody time. Have a good week all! It's county fair time this week for my part of the globe, which, since they enlarged it a few years ago, is not as much fun, and more expensive--as mentioned earlier, there is something to be said in favor of the intimacy of a smaller, closer group. #BRS
